Spinellikuja

Kiinteistö Oy Vantaan Spinellikuja sijaitsee Vantaan Kivistön u“Spinellikuja” (of Vantaa Real Estate Ltd) is a part of Kivistö’s newly built area in Vantaa, lying along the Old Hämeenlinna Road, near Kivistö station. The site consists of two buildings. The neighbouring housing company in the same block forms a single, clearly demarcated block together with “Spinellikuja”.

Sheltered courtyard as a contrast to the street front

The six-storey high building with four staircases is built on the street side, at the site’s edge. A three-story high, single-staircase building lies on the other end of the site. The street facades’ high quality brick, in-situ masonry creates a strong and modern design statement. On the inside, the fronts facing the courtyard are finished in plaster, thus giving the protected courtyard a light and cozy feel. There are also seating groups and a children’s playground. Nomaji Oy designed the courtyard.

The color scheme and artwork make buildings’ entrances stand out with their coloured bricks and curved shapes. The same colorway has been used for the balconies, tying it visually and giving the buildings a strong and uniform identity. Kaisa Berry designed the artwork (Berry Creative Oy).

Housing

The property has a total of 140 apartments. Apartments fall into categories of 1 room + kitchen or 4 rooms + kitchen; surface areas ranging from 20m2 to 94m2. High-ceilinged apartments are located on the first floor and some of them have a loft. The condominium has four shared saunas, four laundry rooms and one multi-purpose meeting room.
