A maritime landmark and spa complex

Designed for Westend in Espoo, close to Länsiväylä and the seashore, Hotel Westend is our impressive vision of modern, high-end hotel architecture. The 21-story hotel tower was designed as a new landmark for the area, seamlessly combining comfortable accommodation, congress services and relaxation.

The plan comprised 270 hotel rooms on floors 3–19, offering stunning views of the sea and the surrounding city. The podium of the building was envisioned to house a high-end spa, a variety of restaurants and versatile congress facilities. A striking VIP space and roof terrace were designed for the top of the tower, on the 20th floor.

The project was designed according to the principles of sustainable development, targeting LEED Silver environmental certification. Although the project remained at the design stage, it represents our office’s expertise in managing large and technically demanding hotel complexes and our ability to create architecture that enriches the cityscape.
