Style and atmosphere

The dignified and calming atmosphere of Opus Satama Bar & Bistro is the result of our firm’s expert vision. Our goal in the project was to enliven the entire Opus business campus and give it a new pulse. The renovated restaurant opens the campus up to its surroundings in a whole new way and also attracts outside visitors. The restaurant’s visual identity was developed in close collaboration with the restaurateur, so the end result combines functionality, atmosphere and brand into an inviting whole.

Deep blue and the play of light

The soul of the space is built on a deep blue color that creates a strong atmosphere and adds a touch of festivity. The intense shade serves as a brilliant backdrop for the rest of the interior, beautifully highlighting the warm wood tones and brass light fixtures.

Architectural changes maximized the potential of the space: the old grid suspended ceiling was removed, increasing the ceiling height and finally allowing the large windows to come into their own. A new information desk was integrated into the restaurant space, and the scale of the open space was broken down with a playful vinyl mosaic.

Special attention was paid to lighting in the design so that the space works optimally both at lunchtime and in the evening. Adjustable lighting allows for different moods; in the evening the lighting becomes softer, and spotlights and pendant lights above the tables create an intimate and warm atmosphere.
