Modern storage

Pelican Self Storage has established itself as a storage service in Finland. L Architects has been responsible for several projects in Finland and abroad for a few years now.

In total, we have more than twenty development projects together with Pelican. The projects are located in Finland as well as in Sweden and Denmark. Six of the projects have been completed.

L Architects has also been involved in creating and developing the Pelican Self Storage concept and storage solutions in cooperation with Pelican.

Pelican Tapiola

The office buildings at Kimmeltie 1-3, which had stood empty for more than 10 years, were given a new lease on life when Espoo’s third Pelican Self Storage opened there. The total floor area is more than 10,000 m², and construction, including extensive interior demolition, took two years. This way, old office buildings do not have to be torn down but can be given a new life serving today’s needs.
