A modern parking facility for Perkkaa to meet the needs of the urban environment. The 6-7-storey parking facility has 454 parking spaces, 46 of which are equipped with electric car charging and the rest with charging facilities. The surrounding blocks are mainly residential.

The architecture of the parking facility has focused on harmonizing it with the surrounding residential buildings. The exterior of the building is sophisticated and restrained, and a minimalist approach has been used in its exterior architecture. The shape of the round, single-material metal-clad building is uniform and clear, and the appearance is restrained and controlled. The facades of the building are constructed with steel cassettes, a concrete base and a dense steel mesh. The steel cassettes prevent glare from car headlights, and the use of steel mesh in various places allows the facade to maintain 30% transparency.

Multipurposeful and
Enduring

The design of the parking facility has taken into account its versatility and durability. The building is designed as a continuous, spiral-shaped parking facility with two exit staircases and technical facilities located at ground level. The long service life of the building is also supported by the choice of high-quality building materials. The building frame is made of cast-in-place concrete, and the facades are ventilated.
