Leisure Spaces for the Community

A restaurant–spa pavilion open to all residents will be built near the Westend beach in Espoo. The building will house a restaurant/café and a small spa-style bathhouse, which together with the Kuninkaansatama residential building will form a pleasant and lively ensemble along the shoreline. Open throughout the year, the pavilion will serve both local residents and visitors enjoying the outdoor surroundings.

A Calm and Relaxed Spa Atmosphere

The building is located on the southern edge of the site, close to the beach and Käärmesaarenpuisto. The single-storey structure, topped with a green roof, opens to the south through large glass walls. The eastern end of the building accommodates the restaurant and a terrace facing the sea, with direct access to the coastal pathway and the beach.

The spa area includes a swimming pool, a whirlpool, a cold plunge pool, and a selection of different saunas. Inside, the serene atmosphere of the spa is combined with the relaxed ambience of the restaurant, creating a harmonious, cohesive experience.
